"Driving Down 23" Poetry Mini Zine

This zine was made by Sunseeker Zines by Rain a zinemaker from Ontario, California

We gave them some space to tell us about themselves, their process, and what inspires them. This is what they said:

I'm a queer non-binary artist (they/them) who lives with my husband and two pups! I'm currently working towards my California Naturalist certification and I love the outdoors. Whenever I'm not making zines, I'm either playing video games or work on other crafty projects.

I love to combine analog and digital processes in my work! I enjoy rummaging through old magazines and thrifted materials to give them new life in a zine. I'm always saving paper scraps and potential ephemera in my bag while going about my day and I live for using the unexpected in my art.

I'm originally from a small rural town in Virginia nestled in the Appalachian Mountains and I moved to SoCal in 2022! I'm so grateful for the opportunities I've had here to be able to discover myself and what makes me feel most alive. I'm also thankful for the zine community here for inspiring me every day to make my voice heard through art.
