Shine Kim, PhD is an academic coach, creative nonfiction writer, and aspiring author. She works with higher education students to create supportive strategies for navigating academia with their mental health intact. Her zines help start conversations that unpack power dynamics in academia, humanize the grad student experience, and combats conformity while encouraging diversity.
