We gave them some space to tell us about themselves, their process, and what inspires them. This is what they said:

Who hasn’t been that girl? We’ve all been in trouble. We’ve all been THAT TROUBLE. Staring over the precipice, backed into a corner, burnt by the flame, heart shattered into a million pieces, caught in the headlights, broken down by the side of the road, and taking a leap into the abyss. Girls who are broke and on the run, girls that had their hearts undone, girls on the edge, girls having fun, girls holding a smoking gun, girls hellbent on revenge, girls that set it off, nerdy girls, party girls, brainy girls, magic girls, spice girls, EMO girls, dream girls, mean girls, and very fucking angry girls making trouble. And when we say girls, we mean –– in the most inclusive, big hug, get under this umbrella, we’re making space for everybody, sort of way. We mean –– queer girls, trans girls, non-binary g*rls, boy girls, gurls that say it like this.

We are a creative experiment. A literary studio. We are independent writers unafraid of the power of words. Even if they get us into trouble. Expect a bold, new short stories in every zine! We promise we wrote them just for you.
