Queeros #3: Sapphic Heartthrobs

This zine was made by Purest Revolution Zine a zinemaker from San Diego, CA

We gave them some space to tell us about themselves, their process, and what inspires them. This is what they said:

PurestRevolutionZine is a grassroots collective focused on intersectional feminism and liberation for all through art and punk rock! I am heavily inspired by the zines of the the Riot Grrrl movement and punk rock graphic design. I use and share my experiences as a mixed race/disabled/queer/antiestablishment individual to help others who feel like an outsider while making a statement in my zines :)

I keep paper scraps to use in zines or to print small images on, and if I’m making a zine with 8-fold with multiple pages taped together I use one piece of paper (I basically design what I want on the two pages folded into the zine page sizes, but on one page without cutting!)

I was folding zines wrong for the longest time before I started self-publishing 🫣
