Imparting Fables

This zine was made by Beth and Angel Make Games - Beth Jackson and Angelique Drummond a zinemaker from Bourbon, Indiana

We gave them some space to tell us about themselves, their process, and what inspires them. This is what they said:

We're uplifting, encouraging creators who create things based on our struggles: bipolar, allergies, lack of focus and motivation, dysphoria (Beth is transgender), and more. We love it so much when something we make helps others, too! We make TTRPGs, zines, and tabletop games for everyone, from newbies to experienced players :D

We both use Canva (NOT the AI tools!!! We never use AI!) to create our games and zines. Each project is a learning experience in one way or another, leading us to hone our writing or layout skills, brevity, clarity, and/or humor. Canva is such an awesome, easy-to-use tool for anyone to use!

We're huge fans of game jams and challenges that get our creativity flowing, like Ludum Dare and Mini Zine July. We also run a yearly bundle for Free RPG Day and Free Zine Week!
